For one evening in Mumbai, Jalisco came a little closer. To mark World Tequila Day, PATRÓN Experiences brought Hacienda PATRÓN to India for the first time, recreating the spirit of its legendary home in the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. But this wasn’t simply about tequila. The evening unfolded as a journey through the world behind the bottle, bringing together Mexican craftsmanship, food, music and hospitality across a series of immersive spaces.

It Started In The Courtyard

Guests began at the Picante Courtyard with signature PATRÓN serves and curated canapés. Agave-inspired crafts, traditional ceramic artistry and personalised keepsakes at La Tiendaoffered a closer look at the craftsmanship and traditions that surround the Hacienda.

The idea was simple: experience the culture behind the tequila, not just the tequila itself.

Then Came The Table

At the heart of the evening was the Hacienda Table.

Chef Prateek Sadhu created a four-course Indo-Mexican menu, with each course paired with a different PATRÓN expression: Silver, Reposado, Añejo and El Alto. Each pairing explored flavour and technique across both the plate and the glass, bringing Indian and Mexican influences together in unexpected ways. It was perhaps the evening’s most interesting expression of what Hacienda PATRÓN was trying to do: bring two cultures to the same table without losing the identity of either.

The Night Ended Differently

The final stop was the El Alto Listening Room.

DJ Kayan took over the music as cocktails replaced courses and the evening shifted from an intimate dinner into something more energetic.

The guest list brought together names across film, fashion, music and culture, including Ishaan Khatter and Vedang Raina.

But the evening wasn’t really about who was there. It was about where PATRÓN comes from.
