Some things are essential. Others simply make travelling better.
Here’s what has earned a permanent place in ours.
Laptop. Passport. Sunglasses. Snacks you definitely didn’t need. The best airport tote somehow holds your entire travel personality without looking like it does. Roomy, reliable and ideally still good-looking when you land.

The closest thing flying has to personal space.
Noise-cancelling headphones on. Airport chaos off.
For a few hours, the world can wait.

Coffee at 6 AM. Matcha by noon. Water when you finally remember. The tumbler has quietly joined the travel uniform. Keeps your drink right, saves another airport purchase and, increasingly, looks good doing it.

Because not every spare minute needs filling. Bring the book that’s been sitting untouched beside your bed for three months. A long flight might finally get you past page twelve.

Sunscreen. Lip balm. Hand cream. Mini fragrance. Forget packing the entire bathroom. Bring the few things you’ll actually reach for and keep them somewhere you can find without unpacking your life at 30,000 feet.

Adapter. Power bank. Charging cable. Not glamorous. Extremely glamorous when your phone is at 4%. Pack accordingly.

Your phone works. Sometimes you want something more. A point-and-shoot, instant or mirrorless camera makes you look at a trip differently. Sometimes the memories worth keeping deserve more than another photo buried in your camera roll.

In the suitcase. In the itinerary. In the day. Not every restaurant needs researching. Not every hour needs a reservation. Leave room for the café you walk past, the extra hour in bed or the plan that appears over breakfast. The best part of the trip might be the thing you never planned.
