And unfortunately for anything mediocre in your life, they’re probably staying there. October has you looking harder at relationships, money and ambition. Attention isn’t enough. Spend an afternoon doing something that will contribute absolutely nothing to your five-year plan. Money, intimacy and self-worth are part of the bigger story too particularly how comfortable you are receiving instead of always chasing the next thing. Not everything enjoyable needs to become a side hustle.

 CANCER

Cancer, round two might go differently. An old idea, plan or possibility you thought was finished may suddenly wander back into your life. Your first instinct will probably be to remember exactly why it failed. Fair. But circumstances changed. You changed. And October is asking you to judge what’s in front of you now, not only what happened before. Logic will have plenty to say. So will your gut. Maybe it wasn’t a bad idea. Maybe it was bad timing.

LEO

Leo, keep this one close to your chest. Something important is growing behind the scenes a relationship, family chapter, creative project, dream or deeply personal plan. It doesn’t need an announcement yet. Give it attention. Protect it without becoming secretive. And trust the instincts telling you where your energy belongs. Also: that grudge? It has been renewed for enough seasons. Not everything needs an audience while it’s becoming something.

VIRGO

Virgo has left the group chat. Temporarily. October feels quieter, more private and considerably less interested in everyone else’s opinions.
