For his Fall 2026 Haute Couture collection, DEVI: The Eternal Muse, Rahul Mishra turned to India's temple architecture, mythology and centuries of craftsmanship, not to recreate history, but to reinterpret it for today.

Presented at Paris Haute Couture Week, the collection unfolded like a living gallery. Sculptural silhouettes, monumental headpieces and intricate embroidery echoed the carved beauty of ancient temples, while every garment reflected the remarkable skill of the artisans behind it.

Techniques such as zardozi, dabka, beadwork and crystal embroidery transformed delicate fabrics into pieces that carried the visual weight of sculpture. Rather than feeling ornamental, every embellishment became part of a larger narrative celebrating heritage through couture.

Jewellery created in collaboration with Tanishq extended that story, while the presence of global guests reinforced the growing influence of Indian craftsmanship on fashion's biggest stage.

More than a runway presentation, DEVI became a reminder that couture has the power to preserve culture while continuing to shape its future.
