The scarf used to have a fairly obvious job. Around the neck, perhaps in the hair, and that was about it. Not anymore. It’s moving around the entire outfit becoming a belt, a top, jewellery and even part of the bag. The piece itself hasn’t changed. We’ve just stopped telling it where it belongs.
THE SCARF, AS A BELT
Denim needed something. Apparently, it was silk. Threaded through belt loops or tied loosely around the waist, a scarf brings softness and movement to something as ordinary as jeans and a white shirt. The contrast is what makes it work: polished silk against everyday denim.

THE SCARF, ON THE BAG
Your bag is getting dressed too. Wrapped around a handle, knotted onto a strap or left loose, the scarf can make even the bag you’ve carried a hundred times feel slightly different. A small intervention. Surprisingly effective.
THE SCARF, AS A HEADPIECE
A little retro. Not particularly nostalgic. Tied under the chin, wrapped around the head or worked into the hair, the headscarf is back without feeling like it has travelled directly from another decade. Add sunglasses and simple separates. Let the scarf do the rest.
THE SCARF, ON THE WRIST
Who said it had to be jewellery? A knot of silk around the wrist brings colour and print into an otherwise minimal look without adding another conventional accessory. Think of it as the bracelet you already owned.
