The best personal style rarely begins with a rule. It comes from wearing the unexpected thing, mixing references that technically shouldn’t work and, occasionally, not caring whether everyone else gets it. That instinct sits at the centre of Crocs’ latest Let Them Talk campaign, with Siddhant Chaturvedi fronting the new Echo II in India. And this time, fitting in was never really the brief.

The Echo II is bold by design. Exaggerated proportions, expressive colourways and the comfort Crocs is known for come together in a silhouette that isn’t particularly interested in disappearing into an outfit. Neither are the people wearing it. Alongside Siddhant, the campaign brings together rapper and singer-songwriter Tsumyoki, dancer and choreographer Srilakshmi, and graffiti artist Left Hander. Four different creative worlds, connected by one thing: curiosity.

Music meets movement. Fashion crosses into visual art. Individual references collide rather than coordinate. It reflects something happening in style more broadly. Getting dressed is becoming less about perfecting an aesthetic and more about developing one of your own. For Siddhant, that means staying curious, experimenting and enjoying the process without spending too much time worrying about how it might be perceived.

The Echo II wasn’t designed to quietly finish the outfit. The shoe becomes part of that attitude. Progressive, comfortable and deliberately noticeable, it leaves plenty of room for the person wearing it to decide what comes next. And perhaps that’s what makes Let Them Talk feel relevant right now. Personal style doesn’t need everyone to understand it. Sometimes, everyone talking about it is the point.
